|
|
On the Requirement page it is possible to see how many test cases that are connected to a specific requirement. This number wrongly shows the total amount of test cases (counting all old versions) instead of just the latest versions.
Example:
Requirement A has 2 test cases, X and Y. X is on its 4th version and Y is on its 1st version. In this case the number of test cases connected to A will be 5, instead of 2 which would be the correct number.
We are using:
QA Traq Version 6.10.0
QA Traq DB Version 6.10
QA Traq Pro Version Not Installed |

Hi,
First, please try to check if “Latest” is selected under Cases Version.
If you're still seeing the issue, please do reply again and maybe provide a screenshot.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for the quick attention.
There is no 'Latest' option on the requirements page (./requ_view_search.php). It's only possible to set 'latest' on the test cases page (./test_cases_view_search.php), and this is checked.
In the image provided REQ5 has 2 test cases, both on version 0.3. So totally there has been 6 versions of the test cases.
- The first part of the picture show the requirement page. On this page it looks like the requirement has 6 test cases.
- The second part of the image show the test case page when searching for test cases connected to REQ5, latest only.
- The third part of the image show the test case page when searching for test cases connected to REQ5, all versions.
In my opinion the number of test cases related to REQ5 should be 2. Not 6 that is displayed on the requirements page.
